Ba mhaith liom buíochas cabhrú le do thoil!
The attached death record is in Irish and I would like a second opinion on the cause of death please.
Edward Augustine Curley died July 13 1924 - LINK; see record 18 / row 2 (https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1924/05028/4374480)
I think it translates as:
Heart failure I think / He died suddenly/ No doctor was present
Go raibh maith agaibh
:)

cut... saves everyone having to go looking for it.

Thank you Hallmark

Tinneas croídhe is dócha - Heart disease, probably
Fuair sé bás go tobann - He died suddenly
Ní raibh aon dochtúir ghá freastal - There was no need for medical (doctor's) attendance
With apologies to my Irish teachers.

Thank you! 😀
I think my Irish teachers owe me an apology!

Almost the same as Dublin 1850 but last sentence different.
Heart disease, probably. He died suddenly. No doctor was attending him.

Thank you Mary
