Title: Work House relatives.
Post by: Karen Lorraine on Sunday 11 September 16 07:28 BST (UK)
I have often wondered if any of my relatives lived in a workhouse and found out last night that at least one did.
Robert Peel born 1843 - died 1920 was listed as an inmate of the Faversham Workhouse in the 1911 Census.

Thank you Panda
I don't live all that far from Faversham and was going to look at it but I just found the workhouse was demolished - but I did find a really old map with it on.
