Title: Restoring my grandfather Shinn and his sons
Post by: dgillis71 on Tuesday 06 September 16 17:32 BST (UK)
I would love to see if this photo can be restored.  It is my grandfather with his sons the day before my dad left for the Vietnam War.  Thanks!

Hi and welcome to Rootschat...the file you have posted is too small to get a meaningful restore from..for best results a scan at a resolution of 300dpi is recommended...you can post a file size of just below 500kbs and yours is only 24kbs and won't produce a good print out. There is a good tutorial at the top of the board to help you.

Thanks for trying!  I will try to see if I can change the scan settings and hopefully have a better one to work with.
