Ann Taylor (b. Seghill, Northumberland) 1837 married Charles Robinson (b. Southampton) Living in Houghton le Spring in 1861. By 1871 they had moved to Haswell Moor, Easington, and had children Sarah A (9), Margaret (5) John (3) and Adam (8m).
After the death of Charles, Ann married Joseph Routledge in 1873. They lived in Brandon & Byshottle in 1881 and had a daughter Jane in 1875.
Ann died 28th November, Burial 3rd December 1935 but I am unable to find a death registration for Ann Routledge aged 98 in that quarter. Did she remarry?
Other family names are DODDS, BLAIR, GAIR, BOWER(S)
It is thought that John Robinson (son of Charles and Ann) lived on a farm near Esh (with his daughter who eventually married an ex-POW) until the early 1950s. Any connections?

Could these Routledge/Robinsons be connected to the John Routledge Robinson who married my gt grandfather's sister Mabel Matilda Mitton in 1909?
Trying to trace their 8 children born 1910 to 1930.
We have some nice pix of the family I would be happy to share.
Also any descendants of Rowland Mitton and Annie Maude, Sarah Ann Mitton and Charles Riley, Eliza Mary Mitton and Sydney Ernest Aylward, John Mitton and Sarah Alice Spencer, Henry Mitton and Marcella Burt.
Have recently found that the eldest brother Joseph Mitton bn 1859 changed his name to Smith when married an Ann Smith, coincidentally the same name as his mother.
