Title: Thomas Austin 1775 who was his wife

Can anyone help Iam stuck on Thomas Austin 1775 - 1849 age 74 Leicester vol 15 qtr 1 page110 line 106. In the 1841 census he was in  wigston hospital Leicestershire Iam trying to find his wife who I believe was possibly ann can anyone help clarify this and his parents please I would be most greatful thank you

Do you know where he was born / baptised. The 1841 census says he was not born in county. It doesn't give an occupation either which may make it more difficult matching to a marriage record. his age in 1841 is given as 65, but looking at other records on the page (other hospital patients) the enumerator doesn't seem to have rounded ages.
Do you have baptisms for children of Thomas which gives mother's name as Ann?

I have found several children baptised at St Nicholas Leicester, one has the middle name Booker. Have you looked into that as a possible maiden name for Ann?

Thomas Austin .....claimed to be admitted for a house in St. Martin's Leicester; he proved that he had occupied a room in Wigston's Hospital, and had done so for eight years; that he had occupied the room solely by himself...

There's 2 burials at St Martins

AUSTIN   ANN   1   JAN   1828   age 47
AUSTIN   THOMAS   29 MAR 1849   age 74

Just wondered if this was her in the paper

On Saturday last, Mrs. Austin, of St. Nicholas's square, this town.
