Could anyone restore this photo please? It's rather damaged, unfortunately I do not own the original image my great aunt has it somewhere. This is just a scan from her.
As this site refused to let me post a photo from my iPad, here is the link to the photo >>

My try.. I had to grab the pic as a screenshot. If you could find a way to upload it direct, I think a clearer job could be done.

Hello chloerog,
Welcome to RootsChat :)
Other members are able to post pictures from their Ipads, can you describe your problem further there may be something that you are doing wrong.
Normally when their is a problem on RootsChat an error message will come up, image too big...filename already in use etc

Hey Sarah
Every time I try to upload a pic it tells me the file name is already in use on the site. I've tried adding multiple images and separate ones and I get the same error every time. :(

I'm afraid with my limited computer knowledge, I am unable to copy this photo to work on it If you can post it again in a different format, I will give it a go.

Hello chloerog,
If you fine name is called "photo1.jpeg" if someone else has already posted a photograph with that same filename it will reject it because each photograph has to have unique filename.
To make a filename unique you can call it something like henrybrowningsatinchair.jpeg or you can add numbers to the file name if you have multiple pictures of the same person ;)
Do not preview your image before posting as this does a minisave and would then not allow you to post the image.
Hope that this helps.
Regards
Sarah
