Title: JAMES family bible looking for a home
Post by: s4rah on Thursday 28 July 16 21:53 BST (UK)
Hi all

I have here a rather sadly dilapidated but still readable Welsh language bible. It belonged to David James, born in Porth 28th September 1872, and his wife Margaret, born in Aberdare March 28th 1877; married at Pontypridd 26th May 1900. Children and grandchildren are given also.

If these are your ancestors or you know someone who would be interested in having this bible/seeing photos please let me know, would be nice to think it was of interest to someone.

Have no connection, but wonderful for you to care.

I cherish my own family bible, by my great grandparents around the same time, area. Hope it finds its way home.

Hi there

My relations are James from Wales who came to Oxfordshire (Faringdon) with the cattle drovers about 1600.   Still tracing which branch of the family but always interested in more information  :)  :)
I am interested to know if you still have the bible.

Many thanks
