William Henry Knight married Elizabeth Ellen Gray on Christmas Day 1881, at Holy Trinity Church, Barking Road, Canning Town. The groom was a carpenter, living at 28 Grange Road, and the bride at 1 Jane Cottages. Witnesses were Benjamin Gray (bride's father - who 'made his mark') and an Anne Squires.
