Hello
I am seeking information and advice on how to find information about them.
They are from the Milwich/Fradswell area of Staffordshire. John died in 26 january 1795, Mary died on 18 January 1816 aged 78, Their children were Thomas 1757, Mary 1762, John 1765, Ann 1759, Jane 1772, and William 1775
I have come to a dead end here and think this may be as far as I can go down this line
I would be grateful for any information that goes further back and for any information about the area and what sort of lfe they may have had
many thanks
Julia

Have you looked in 'Surname Interests' in 'Your Tools' below, to see if anyone else is researching them?
Where have you looked for the information that you have found - parish records?
Have you contacted any local history sites, e.g.

Thank you for your help
I have looked in 'Surname interests' and can not find any one else. I am new to Roots chat so maybe it is me but am having some difficulty finding my way around so I could have missed them.
It is a while since I last spent some time researching family history. The information I have about John and Mary I found from Staffordshire Record Office in 2011 They also said they could not find birth or marriage records for John and Mary in Leigh or Colwich.
But that tto Mary Tooth does sound a possible.
Thank you both for your help

Just so you know - Staffordshire parish records (not totally sure if all of them have been uploaded yet) can be found on FindMyPast.

Someone has Tooth from Milwich in their surname interests :)

Thank you again
I have sent a look up request about Mary Tooth and John Dutton and will go to the library to look up the Staffordshire Parish Records
Best wishes

There exists an extremely rare bookplate, crudely engraved, for Johannes Dutton of Tutbury. It depicts a crowned clock face between Father Time and and a gentleman with a crown on his head. For more, contact The Bookplate Society.
