Hi,
I am trying to find more information on Mathew Paish's parents, I have the following information.
born about 1803
Baptised 10 Apr 1803 in Cirencester, Gloucestershire
Married Hester (Esther) Garlick 24 Apr 1831 in Cirencester
His Dad is Charles Paish (or Pash)
Mathew and Hester had the following childred
Elizabeth Paish (1837-)
Joseph Paish (1838-1877)
David Paish (1841-)
Hester Paish (1843-)
James Paish (1846-)
Mathew Paish (1851-), I think he married a Hester.

Thanks for the information.
I had actually seen the marriage for Charles and Susanna but because the birth of Mathew only listed Charles I thought maybe this wasn't the correct people.
how likely do you think that they are both the parents?
I had seen the 1841 Census also

I think it's very likely given the census information. Charles married to Susanna is a basket maker, as is Matthew. And birth dates match pretty well. From a quick look, can't see any other Charles PAISH in the area.

Had a very quick look at my burial index (57 PAISH burials after 1813 - 9 at Stratton)
Daniel PAISH aged 90 was buried at Stratton - 18 February 1841 - earlier reply gave a marriage of James PAISH at Cirencester from Stratton 1823
and
Ann PAISH aged 85 of Cirencester was buried at Stratton - 1 August 1841

One for Susannah PAISH 1822 - Bisley
There is a George PAISH aged 10m - buried at Bisley - 27 February 1825 - residence: Grays.
Just one PAISH buried at Bisley - son of George & Susanna PAISH - christened 9 May 1824
and and Overseers report for Charles PAISH - basketmaker, Cirencester
