Hi I think we need more information, I cannot locate a place called Odsell in the UK, but an Odsal in Bradford which is associated with Rugby League, an Ordsall in Nottinghamshire and an Ordsall in Manchester?

Is this a living person ? Only ask because there was someone of that name won the RFU value volunteer award earlier this year.

Hi again, so he was the Reuben Mitchell b Bradford who died 6th April 1917 France & Flanders Service Number 113002 Rank Sergeant Regiment Royal Engineers aged 24

EDIT he was the son of Reuben A and Sarah Jane Mitchell of Granville House, Lower Rushton Road, Thornbury and is buried at Ecoivres Grave ref V1 B. 19

that's right 86 what I'm trying to find out is his playing days in the rugby league

If he played for Bradford Northern it will surely have been at Birch Lane. The ground at Odsal opened in 1934.

A Reuben Mitchell Serg, 113002, Royal Engineers died 6 April 1917 and was buried Mon-St-Eloi.
Looks like he was born 7 March 1893 Bradford son of Reuben Arthur & Sarah Jane Mitchell bur his occupation in the census was teacher.
