Hi I think we need more information, I cannot locate a place called Odsell in the UK, but an Odsal in Bradford which is associated with Rugby League, an Ordsall in Nottinghamshire and an Ordsall in Manchester?

Is this a living person ?  Only ask because there was someone of that name won the RFU value volunteer award earlier this year.

If he played for Bradford Northern it will surely have been at Birch Lane. The ground at Odsal opened in 1934.

He's not listed here ...

... but you could try contacting them to ask about him.

A Reuben Mitchell Serg, 113002, Royal Engineers died 6 April 1917 and was buried Mon-St-Eloi.

Looks like he was born 7 March 1893 Bradford son of Reuben Arthur & Sarah Jane Mitchell bur his occupation in the census was teacher.
