I have gathered census records and a baptism for Isaac Kemble (Born, 1841 and Baptised 7 Mar 1847). He died in 1907. The baptism record shows and 1841 census shows Isaac's parents as James and Elizabeth. I am wondering if anyone could assist me in furthering his lineage as I can't seen to find convincing records for him.
He also married a Catherine Donovan, who I'd like to further research also. She was born in 1842 in Newport, Wales and parents were Timothy and Mary born in Ireland.
Any assistance for these two would be great! Thanks.

It may help if you tell us where you have him on census and give the details. Where was he born.

The 1841 Chepstow birth does not tie in with the 7 March 1847 baptism where Isaac is 4 years, 4 months 2 weeks ::)

Hi all,
I am familiar with a few census records and such. I am just trying to find out about baptisms and such to further the Kemble and Donovan lineage.
James Kemble ca. 1816 was supposedly born in/around Gloucestershire and married Elizabeth Colly.
Timothy Donovan ca. 1815 was born in Ireland and Married a Mary.

Hello,
You say you can't find 'convincing records for him'.
What do you mean? You have census and baptism record for Isaac.
Are you looking for James Kemble rather than Isaac?

Do you have Catherine's birth certificate. That would give you her mother's surname.
There is a marriage for Timothy Donovan, Newport 1940. Have you checked that?
There is a Mary (Morgan) in the list of spouses but that may not be the right Timothy. There are two couples with the same first names.
