Title: Photo dating of Rachel's Photo from Aunts House
Post by: mso1 on Saturday 02 July 16 19:27 BST (UK)
My neighbour found this photo of her family recently when clearing her aunts house. Her aunt unfortunately has dementia and is therefore unable to provide any details, apart from to confirm that it is family. Please could someone date this for her and possibly confirm if it may have been taken in a studio. Any other info would be welcomed too Thank you, Moira

Almost certainly taken in a studio around 1900, give or take.

Thank you so very much AJ, I will pass this onto my neighbour and hopefully it will help her to identify the family members in the photo Regards, Moira

Certainly Edwardian but could be anytime up to around 1908 when the pigeon-breast blouse went out of fashion.
