I am researching my Boyd Family in Kilkeel. I have recently found David Boyd Linen Merchant of Kilkeel b. 1752 d. 1825 is my GGG Grandfather.
David married Agnes McNeilly sometime around 1800 and they had children Robert b. 1804, Sarah b. 1812, John b. 1817 and William b. 1821.
While in Newry last year I saw records from Hugh Irvine's (dec) collection in Bagnals Castle that connected us with other families. These records showed Hugh had seen copies of Indentures concerning David Boyd and his children listed below, that were in the possession of the Chambers and or Ferguson family in Kilkeel.
I would like to make contact with anyone who is connected with any of these families so I can continue to understand and grow our family in Kilkeel.
thankyou Babzi

If this is the Sarah Boyd, daughter of David, mentioned in the original post then she was about 42 years old in 1854-
