Title: Boston, Lincs WW1
Post by: Wharncliffe on Monday 13 June 16 18:58 BST (UK)
Good evening all,

If anyone has got any stories supported by photographs during WW1 for a book about the area would be appreciated.
There is a wide remit so anything from the war at home, land, sea or air would be fantastic. Non-combatant stories are more than welcome.
Look forward to your replies.
Mark

Hi, I only know of one story and that's in relation to Bostons fishermen. They were badly affected by the outbreak of WW1 and many spent the rest of the war in prison camps. If I was you I would Google Boston, Lincs fishermen ww1 - all you will need to check that out will come up for you. Good luck
