Title: Dating please Strickland Family Lancashire
Post by: Anny on Saturday 11 June 16 04:48 BST (UK)
Could you please assist in dating this photograph which we believe may be around the 1880s. Also your opinion of the ages of the children and the possibility of the youngest child on the far right being a boy.

Thank you
Anny

I would say this is Edwardian. Ages approx. 8,6,4 & 2 and the little one could be either a boy or a  girl...it's hard to say...but boys normally wear boots.

I would agree with Edwardian.   i.e. Later than 1880s.

Thank you Carol and Wiggy for your info I was hoping it was a little earlier than you suggest but the age difference between the children fits,

Thanks for your help
