Post by: Palma28 on Saturday 21 May 16 08:04 BST (UK)
Looking for my great great grandfathers death. He was married at St Sannan Bedwellty 1840 on the 3rd February to Jane Davies he was a collier. Address listed on wedding certificate Pontaberpengam for both.  His last child was born 1844 and his wife is listed widow on 1851 Census. His fathers name James listed as a Gardner. His birth on 1841 census approx. 1798. Any help appreciated greatly.  Paley

Index shows 5 Rees Davies dying between 1844 and 1851 in Abergavenny Registration District.
Unfortunately for that era ages at death are not shown in the index.

Rowley tks for reply , yes I know it's Rees Davies and Jane richards just oversight , frustrated trying to find a death date for Rees. I had trouble finding a birth certificate for their daughter Catherine born fleur de lis.
