Hya Andy, I have Beveridge's going back to 1665 in Fife. Where do your Beveridges hail from? Get in touch, we might have a family tree connection.

I will try my best here... my ggggg grandfather I am led to believe was James Beveridge who married Ann Simpson?  He had a son Robert, Robert was my gggg grandfather  who was born 29 Dec 1801 in Fordell, he married Elizabeth Fair  about 1821 or 1822 in Fordell or Beath?? Then Hannah Beveridge born 7 Dec 1831 married Robert Litster (Lister) on 10 Oct 1853.  The Lister connection is my Grandmother who married a Denholm.  Hannah Lister was born 15 Mar 1917 in Back St, Crossgates.

All very vague but I have not researched the Lister and Beveridge side.

Hya Wildgoose, the Martins that I am looking for information on lived in Cowdenbeath well before this date. Thanks for the information anyway. GEN10

-
My MARTINs eventually settled in Ballingry.

-
Believe these were my grandparents with their daughter  Susan Alexander  Martin, who later married Samuel Lewis Loveland , being my mother

-
Hya Welshron, are you saying that Isabella and Joseph were your greatgrandparents? The name Susan Alexander was Isabella's mothers maiden name. If this is the case then this is brilliant. I have been trying to trace someone from that particular side of the tree for a number of years.

Hello Welshron, I should have read your message more carefully. This is brilliant. Would you be willing to share information with me on your family? I have lots of information on the Beveridges and would be more than willing to share anything with you. I have sent you a pm with my e-mail address.
Looking forward to hearing from you

Hello Welshron, I have tried to pm you and e-mail you. I do hope that you and yours are well. You were my first link to the Martin's side of the family. It would be really good if you could get in contact with me as I would love to know more about them.

Sadly I thought I had found someone who I could share information about Joseph and Isabella Martin, but for some unknown reason the person just ignored any requests for communication.
If anyone is related to them, please get in touch as I’m willing to share any information I have. Thanks in advance Gen10
