Married Anne Rockliffe 1813-1890

From West Ashby, trying to find the parents of Michael.

My grandmother was a Boulton and my great grandmother Boulton, nee Pocklington is buried in Great Carlton.

I noticed a Robert E Boulton also buried there. His parents are Henry Boulton and Lucy Rands and grandparents Michael and Anne.

Investigating as to whether there is a definite link between Robert and my family.

The Michael Boulton baptised 24 June 1809 at West Ashby to parents Michael & Mary looks likely.

You say he was born 1812 or 1813, but several of his records suggest it was a touch earlier:

1841 census: aged 30
1851 census: aged 41
1861 census: aged 49
1871 census: aged 61
1881 census: aged 70
1883 burial (1 Mar): aged 73
