Marriage of Florence/Fred is on FreeREG, Her Father is HENRY, Occp Carrier

You need to get some Certs;
Florences Birth Cert to establish her Mothers maiden name to start with.
Then her Parents Marriage Cert.

As for Mary Ann Taylor the only way to find her Father./then Parents is her M/C to William Dickens

Trish :)

EDIT; Ok I see were you got her Father as Benjamin from, the M/C is on Anc, Father Benjamin, Occp Labourer
A Joseph Taylor was a Witness.

But Mary Ann from 1851 Census is born Leics so Benjamin may be from there or lived there, back later.

1841 in Brixworth are;
Jos Taylor. 15, Male Servant
Mary Taylor, 15, Female Servant
Both not born in County
HO107/807/1/Brixworth

Ok, dont panic, you had the right Marriage, but I am still no closer to find the Father Benjamin in any Census yet!

Christenings;
JOSEPH Taylor, 3 April 1823, Independant, Wigston Magna, Leics to Benjamin/Mary
MARY ANN Taylor, 9 March 1826, Bishop St Wesleyan, Leicester to Benjamin/Mary
HARRIETT Taylor, 5 July 1832, Bishop St Wesleyan, Leicester to Benjamin TAYLOR and Mary PHIPPS*****

Other possible Children in Leics;
THOMAS, 13 Dec 1827
EDWARD, 13 Dec 1829
HANNAH, 9 Oct 1834
THOMAS EDWARDS, 20 Feb 1837

May be others 1820-1822

1851 Census Harriett Taylor, born c 1833, Wighton, Leicestershire is a Servant in Spratton, Northamptonshire

So it looks like Benjamin/Mary married  14 Jan 1819 in Scaldwell, Northants
Had 1 Child there William Baptised 6 June 1819 Scaldwell
They then must have moved to Leicestershire

The only niggling doubt I have is that Benjamisn Occp was a Miller on the 1819 Marriage Record on FreeREG.
By the Childrens Marriages found he was just a Labourer

Off to see if I can track any of the others down.

The 1841 Census I posted for Mary and Children in Wigston has the Reg District of Blaby.

Death Reg;
Benjamin TAYLOR
Sept 1839, Blaby, 15 45

Looks to me that is why he cant be found on Census.

Mary may have remarried after 1841 also.
