Looking for any relatives of robert jones vc zulu wars. He was my great great uncle. Darren john jones.

Yes. My father robert jones just passed away here in canada. I found out about my great great uncle robert jones. He was my great  grandfathers brother. He was my grangfathers uncle. My grandfather came to canada in early 1900s from stourbridge uk. He had 10 kids here. His first wife died he had 5 kids with elsie hawthorn from uk. And then 5 more with my grandma stella sheridan from marmora ontario.

Just come across your message re my great grandfather Robert Jones VC Rorkes Drift Zulu war where you claim to be a descendant of a brother of his who emigrated to Canada.You do not give any information regarding this person.I have researched Robert Jones family extensively during the past 15 years or so and am able to identify what happened to most of his fifteen siblings as also I have trace the famiy line back to the 1600s .Could you send me details and maybe I could help you

Robert Jones VC was the 6th child of Robert Jones sr and Hannah Fryer who had 16 children
