I am looking for the parents or siblings for my g.grandfather, James William Chambers. There is no information on his wedding or death (Brisbane, Queensland, Australia) certificates. However on his Great Britain, Masters and Mates Certificate his birth is listed as the 26th March 1835 at Clontarf, County Dublin. At the time of his enlistment in September 1856 he is residing at Victoria Lodge, Donnybrook, County Dublin.
Kind Regards

There must be another line in the Chambers family as Hester Chambers died 1850 and her sons and only next of kin are named as Alexander and Coote Mulloy Chambers

Once again Dathai thanks for all your hard work. Yes, I do think there must be another Branch in the
Chambers line. I did think it odd that James had no mention of his parents on his wedding certificate (1863) which lead me to believe that there might have been a family estrangemment. I might be totally wrong. We have been trying to absorb all the information and trying to work out who was who. Lovely house in Dublin.

This may not be relevant after all this time but I have a copy of some research that indicates an Alexander John CHAMBERS married Fernanda Margaret DE MAMIEL in 1860 (I think in either Ireland or North America), his brother Coote Mulloy CHAMBERS married her sister Cesarine Sophia Jane DE MAMIEL about 1866, I believe either in Vancouver or on Vancouver Island.
I understand Cesarine Sophia Jane died in childbirth in 1867. I do not know if the child survived.
