Title: Radio Supplies Shop
Post by: oldphil on Tuesday 26 April 16 21:05 BST (UK)
In the nineteen thirties my late father-in-law had a radio supplies shop in or new Stebbondale Street. His name was W A Leverton. If any roots chatters know where I can find info regarding this shop it would be great. Would there have been a local newspaper covering that area? He may have placed advertisements. May even be article about him as he had recently finished a spell of duty in the Columbian Navy as a radio telegrapher.Regards Phil

try googling "isle of dogs archives", Stebondale only has one B

there are lots of hits with links to many sites.

Alternatively go straight to Tower Hamlets Local Studies
