Help required. I have recently been given some information re the above lair number. My distant cousin tried to find the lair on a visit to the cemetery but was unsuccessful.
If there is anyone who is local could they perhaps help out to see if the lair is still there.
The document is from Cathcart Cemetery company limited and states compartment n Lair number 2134 for Thomas Wilson Forsyth Died 1907 age approx 6 months.
Long shot but would be extremely grateful for any information.

Hi,
Best place for this information is the council that owns the cemetery. They have day books which record the burials for that day. Records for Cathcart may be in Paisley but also with East Renfrewshire or Glasgow.
Have you tried

the year the death took place. most people did not have the money to get a headstone so there might not be one . best as the person says phone Glasgow council and ask them for the info. so it is section ( n ) and lair 2134.

That's the info I have.

Hi, I can have a look again for you in Cathcart if you like. I'm getting a photo for someone else on the forum and am familiar with the territory so it's no problem.

Hi,
Apparently these cemetery records are held by East Renfrewshire rather than Renfrewshire.
