Hi,
I'm working my way through an Army Service record for the Auxiliary Territorial Service. I'm hoping that someone can decode some hand writing for me.
On the Notification of Impending release (Part 2) on the coy. and group/Unit there is 'L' Coy S.AS/DG. Nancy was based in the Aldershot and Farnborough areas throughout the war as a cook and orderly.
Could someone please help as I seem to be stuck with the Small Arms Service/Dragoon Guard according to some of the abbreviations help pages.
Many Thanks
Matt

As Aldershot is a garrison town, the final G might stand for Garrison.
I can't think what the rest of it is, though!
All the best
