Asking rather a lot I know but thought it worth a try as successful with another request thanks to a very helpful person.
Looking for a William (Hosea) Brown baptised 1/5/1839 at Hinderwell, also Elizabeth Young cira 1839 birthplace unknown. William married Elizabeth Young 18/5/1861 at Hinderwell. Neither it would seem are at Hinderwell or in the immediate area in 1861.
In 1851 William Hosea is with his mother and sister at Easington as William.
In 1861 his parents are in Easington but no William.
The above info from help on North Yorks board.
I think they could be in Harlepool or Stranton in 1861 and William in 1871. Elizabeth probably died in Mar qtr 1869 aged 30, reg Whitby. Trying to eliminate.!!
Thanks for any help as real tricky. Waterfall

Thanks Sue and Joyce.
I am almost certain that my William is the widower age 30 a lodger, born Staithes in 1871.
I can eliminate the one in Easington with the 1881.
Thanks for your help.....reall appreciated as it's like looking for a needle in a haystack with so many "Brown's.

Hello
I am nee Young and direct descendant of Elizabeth Young. If you would like to get in touch we could probably swap info. Although I am based in US now, I have been back to Hinderwell trying to trace the Youngs.
