Title: Death - Liverpool 1938
Post by: syljun on Sunday 17 April 16 12:28 BST (UK)
Freebmd has a death of Henry W. Harding June Qtr 1938 Liverpool N. 8b 509. Anyone know the second christian name of Henry. Age 54 I have him born 1884. This could be the last chance for me to find out what happened to Henry Washington Harding born 4th July 1884. Have explored every avenue I can think of for many years and apologise for the many requests I have put on fellow Rootchatters. Thank you, Syljun

When do you last see him?

Marriage in 1904 I expect you have.

Have you eliminated the death in Middlesex Brentford Mar 1914?

Have you tried trawling the probate web site after the date of that Liverpool death just in case he left a will

Hi, Thanks for your time and interest. I would not have thought Henry would have had any money to speak of to leave a Will, unless he made some money after his Divorce as it was classed as a "Poor Man's Divorce". I purchased a copy.
As I could not find him on 1939 Register I looked on Freembd for deaths between 1921/1939.
The only one by age was the Liverpool one but having spent a lot of money over the years buying wrong Certs, I am reluctant to buy another. Looks like he will be the one that got away.
Thank you all for your replies,
Syljun

I don't know if you can do it with death certificates but there is an option to order without a reference number on the GRO website.  You can then specify the full names and 1938 and they will search for you. It takes a bit longer and if it does not match you will get a refund.

When you say you are the owner of Toxteth Park Cemetery Billo, do you mean the website or the actual cemetery?  :o
