Title: Help with passenger lists
Post by: kennyseddon on Thursday 14 April 16 11:42 BST (UK)
Hi can anyone help in finding when my 2 g granma left Ireland for Liverpool.  Rosanna Reilly nee Field must have left between the dates 1862 ( the birth of her 3rd child) and her appearance  in the 1871 census in Liverpool. She had 3 children Mary Josephine,  Anne and Rosanna. I dont know if she travelled with her parents as well ( Thomas and Ann Field) or if they were already in in Liverpool
Rosannas  husband John Reilly was admitted to the Hospital for Incurables in Dublin around 1867 until his death in 1870.
She remarried in 1872 in Liverpool
Thanks, Chris

As Ireland was part of the United Kingdom at that time it was considered domestic travel so not necessarily recorded.
There are a few shipping records but they are not extensive.
