Title: Egans, Harringtons, Horans in Charlestown, Mayo area

My great grandfather Jack (John Joseph) Egan b. 6/24/1859 immigrated from Mayo to Pennsylvania and ultimately settled in Barr Lake, Colorado and owned a dairy farm. His parents were Bryan Egan and Catherine Harrington. I have found Bryan in LeCarrow Kilbeagh in Griffiths.  I'll be in Ireland in June and would love to meet Egans if they are still in the area.

 3 families of Egan in 1901  Lecarrow Kilbeagh Co Mayo

One family is Michael Egan wife Bridget O'Donnell they married in 1878 and his father was Bryan Egan. They have 7 children with them in 1901 and 3 youngest still at home in  1911.The eldest girl Mary is not at home and one boy died in 1879 . Michael will be a brother of your John Egan, the other 2 families  in Census on their marriages show  father's names as James and John most likely brothers of Bryan as each name appears in Griffiths in Lecarrow.

There is no Egans in online phone directory.
