Title: Central Home. Leytonstone
Post by: Gillian1302 on Thursday 31 March 16 14:09 BST (UK)
A female ancestor died in Central Home, Leytonstone in July 1931.
Where might this ancestor have been buried or maybe cremated?
Did the hospital have their own burial areas?
Thanks for help.

Hi Gillian

Welcome to Rootschat  ;D

Leytonstone now comes under the London Borough of Waltham Forest.

They manage 2 cemeteries, details here

https://www.walthamforest.gov.uk/Pages/Services/Death-funerals-burials.aspx

They do make a charge for searching for burials

There is also St Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery if this could be an option

I am researching someone who died in the Central Home in 1828 and she was buried at the East London Cemetery in Grange Road, Plaistow
