I have recently come across the 1939 Register and been surprised to find a previously unknown family member. Being on the other side of the world and having no living family in the area to ask I would be grateful for any newspaper/cemetery lookups for
Eric Seaton b 27th August 1928
d December 1981.
Eric lived in Redcar and I have found no record of a marriage.
Thanks as always

It looks as if Letters of Administration were issued which gives authority to someone to administer the estate in accordance with established legal criteria in circumstances where there is no will. The only information you are likely to obtain is the name of the administrator, which could be a family member or a solicitor.
