Hi
After looking at the really useful edinphoto site (thanks for suggesting this site sonofthom), I am confused as to the dates of these three photos.
The first of two young men was by Begbie of Leith St. He was there 1874-81. Can anyone narrow this down a bit?
Second photo of head and shoulders of one gent is by Bashford at Royton Cottage Portobello. It seems he was only at this address in 1878. Is the fashion right for that early date?
The third picture is a 'Lest we forget' card By O Davis, 16 Princes St. Apparently he was in Edinburgh 1881-1928. So is it likely that this chap was killed in the Great War?
Thanks for any help received.

1st. is typically 1870's.
2nd. too small.
3rd. says forget me not. There's nothing to indicate WW1.

Hi Geniespot,
Do you have permission of edinphoto to publish these photographs on RootsChat ?

Hi Sarah
The three family photos belong to me so I assumed I had copyright. Is this not so?
Thanks for any advice.
