James and his father, Luke, are both Mariners.  Margaret's father is a Baker.

Thanks Bumblebee.

Can I ask who the witnesses were please?

I was anticipating you saying Luke was a Mariner, but not both...

Bumblebee,

Is Luke stated as 'Deceased'?

Luke is not declared to be "deceased".

Witnesses:  Samuel Andrews and Christiana McInnes.

Address for both parties is Renshaw Street.  James is "full age" and Margaret a "minor".  Marriage was by Banns.

Added:  sorry witness's name is Christinia, not Christiana.

Hi Pablo,  I can't find your original post regarding Mary Harper (nee Kent) so am taking the chance to contact you via this post.  I am Mary Harper's granddaughter and the information given my Hume was correct.  I am presently doing some research into her side of the family.  Her son (who was born at the time of her death) contacted the family a number of years ago.  Who are you doing research for?  I have some information that goes back a little way.
