Hi there
I'm wondering if anyone can suggest where I might find records of a marriage in Oderin (around 1811, of a Charles PITTARD (he was born 1783 in England). He married a Mary or Mary Ann and they had two daughters in Oderin - Mary in 1812 and Martha in 1814 before all heading to England.
My ancestor, another of their daughters was named Elizabeth Smith PITTARD which did make me wonder if her mothers maiden name might be SMITH.
Any pointers would be most appreciated as its not a region I'm at all familiar with researching.
Thanks,
Kat

Here is a link to a number of resources. I don't know how far back records go but you might find something, particularly in the first one.
