Title: STOCKPORT REGISTER OFFICER

Could anybody please look up some information for me on a birth certificate. REF ST1/80/98 YEAR 1878 ALFRED BOSTOCK.

I would love to find out:

Fathers Name/Occupation
Mothers Maiden Name
PLACE OF BIRTH/DATE OF BIRTH and any other details it may show. 

Thanks you to anyone that may get chance to do this for me.

Unfortunately, entries for birth registrations are not usually open to public inspection at Register Offices - you have to buy the certificate.  If you can find a baptism taking place in a local church, you would be able to view those records at the county record office.  Most of the information you are looking for would be there, but not necessarily all (it may not show the date of birth for example or the exact address where he was born).

On the Cheshire BMD Website there is a Marriage of a Robert and Ann

When you have a moment could you please check if there is an Alfred Bostock registered anyway in the Manchester area on the 1881 census (particularly with a father called Alfred too).

That would be a great help if you can find the time.
