Post by: piscesPISCES2015 on Wednesday 09 March 16 20:51 GMT (UK)
Hi there,

I'm looking for information on the Jeffery family who lived at number 5 Ash Tree Close Derby

Middle to late 1800s they lived there for 21 years

Edith Victoria Jeffery

Reginald William Crowder

Mavis Collins

William Collins

Yolande Pugh (crowder)

Just wondered if they owned it, worked there etc and how they related to each other regarding the collins family

Thanks

If I have found the correct family on the census Reginald's parents Charles Wigley Crowder and Louisa , mother born Westminster so birth for Edith could be a connection to London?

Yolande daughter of Reginald and Edith 1929 Derby.

Looks like two more daughters born to this couple.

Where did you get the information about William and Mavis - any approximate birth years or any other information about them at all?  How do you know they are related to the Jeffery family, not just servants?

Thank-you

Could you say who your Grandmother is, and when and where born or married or died, so we can try and help you locate Mavis?

Thank-you

From your other posts your grandmother appears to be Yolande L Crowder, (1929) mother's maiden name Jeffery
Other births for Crowder/Jeffery are for Marie in 1921 and Jean D in 1925.   No Mavis.
Cannot see a suitable Crowder Collins marriage.
