Hi There,
I found a death listing in the civil index for a John M'Corry Jan-Feb-Mar 1901 age 79 in Magherafelt. However I can't seem to find it on GRONI to look at the death date or other information.
Am I going crazy? Or are there any search tips to help me find him?
Cheers, Holly

The death may have been registered in Jan-Feb-Mar 1901, but he died on 18 December 1900, so search GRONI online for John McCorry in 1900 (it's there OK).

Thanks. I was hoping with the McCorry/M'Corry they were different men.
Back to the drawing board,
Holly

Thank you John. Do you know if there is anywhere online to see documents free?

Some documents are available at the Irish Genealogy site: https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/
This has births 1864 to 1915, marriages 1882 to 1940, and deaths 1891 to 1965. Eventually marriages back to 1845, and deaths back to 1864 will be on line. The records until 1922 (partition) are for the whole of Ireland. After that, for the Irish Republic only. They are free.
