Hi,
This photo has my Great Grandfather (elderly gent) on left, his son on the right and has been used as a photo for the father of the woman in the middle. People have seen a cropped version of him and assumed it is correct. The father of my gt Aunt died 1923. My Gt Grandfather died 1944.
Can someone please date the photo please, my mum wrote "Gran Dad" on the back of the original (uncropped one)attached.
Regards,
Denise

Hi there,
What age was Great Granfather when he died? My guess is that this wasn't too long before 1944.

Gt Grandfather Bloomfield was 80 when he died in 1944. The other gentleman who he has been mistaken for lived 1869-1923.
Hope this helps confirm dating.

Pretty sure it is later than 1923.

I would agree with Wiggy...1940s.
