Have signed up today and was going to add a profile picture of one of my ancestors, but try as I might, I cannot find any way to do it.
Before posting here I have checked the 'Help' section as well as searching posts where others have had the same issue. I have followed the instructions but I don't have the drop down choices.
I thought it may be a browser issue and possibly my settings (ad blocking, security etc) so I used a different one with none of these, but it was exactly the same. ???
In fact, the new browser was so slow to load and when I went to click on something, lo and behold it speeded up and actually ended up with me reporting an Ad as 'full page'. :-[
I didn't mean to be naughty on my first day! :)
Perhaps it will allow me add an avatar after I have made a few posts (hopefully). ::)

Hi Reg,
You will be able to edit your profile to include a photograph after you have made one more post ;)

Hi Carol and thank you for the welcome.
Yes, as well as the long thread and others when I searched. I tried everything advised in all searched posts before frustration got the better of me and decided to post in case others had/were now experiencing the same. No matter what I tried, there were no options for me to get any further.
I think it is because I don't have a posting history, as has just been confirmed by Sarah.
Will try again after I have replied to Sarah and then try again. If it works and lack of posts is the reason, it may help others if a note was added to the Profile Page.
Thanks again,
Ruth

Hi Sarah,
Many thanks for the info - I thought that may be the case!
Have just tried again after replying to Carol and it has worked. I at last got the 'Forum Profile' link in the drop down choices.
Will work on it properly at leisure, now that I have been given entry! :-)
Thanks again,
Ruth
