I am in need, some time ago I was given a marriage date of Thomas Taylor and Jane Flood who were married in St Nicholas Bristol 3 January 1808. I have been trying to find this record on Ancestry, Findmypast, and other websites.
Please help

i have looked for you but can't find anything :-\ do you have anything else on them?
-
Why don't you contact Bristol Records Office and ask them to check for you? You have all the details so it shouldn't take them long to look.

They may make a charge for looking.

thank you for your replies, they had 4 children while in Bristol, Elizabeth, Harriet Cartwright, Cartwright Buckle and John, not all in one church, they then went back to Thomas parish which is Southrop and stayed there.
I have contacted Bristol Record office too, thank you for that advice.
I also kept having Forest of Dean popping into my mind and check that out and there website popped up "Gloucester St Nicholas Marriage 1734-1837" by Mike Bradshaw , transcibed
maybe this is where I or relatives found it???

Hi Leonie
I have just checked the Gloucester St Nicholas transcriptions on the FoD site but the one you want is not listed I'm afraid.

On IGI - the surname given is some baptisms can either FLOOD or FLOYD (?silent Y)- variations FLOID
On the Non-conformist Register there is a Mary FLOYD burial 4 Jan 1787 mother Jane FLOYD Burial Bristol & Somerset.
--
On the Gloucestershire Burial Index CD - Jane TAYLOR was buried at Southrop - 5 May 1869 aged 84 = c1785 and Thomas King TAYLOR - 20 February 1858 aged 86 c 1772 - Christened at Southrop 21 April 1771
Thomas could have been married before as he would have been 37 years old in 1808
