Looking for information re Charles and Rose Isabelle Booty (nee McDermott). Married in Australia in 1874. Charles, born in Suffolk around 1845. Immigrated to Australia. Returned to England after marriage with his wife and father-in-law, Bernard McDermott. Can anyone help here please.. hit a brick wall.

There's a death in Fitzroy North, VIC in 1888: Rose Isabel Booty, aged 36.

What specific information are you after? I see a birth and a census record that suggests Charles was born 1844.

The marriage to Isabella is in the newspapers. These can be accessed at Trove.

Thanks for your reply....yes I have seen the marriage on Trove..looking for any sign of their life in England...can't find passenger details or births, deaths in England. Rose was my husband's gg grandmother's (Mary) sister.

I would think this would be her

She is listed in a few others

Thanks will follow up the death in Nth Fitzroy..would say this is her.

There's a Charles Booty death in Wagga Wagga in 1890. He'd been in Australia for 30 years.

There is a Charles Booty born about 1843 England age 27 in the N S W Australia Gaol Entrance books arrival year 1861 ....I wonder if this is him ?
