Title: HADDON burials DEVON, lookup please.
Post by: caddie51 on Tuesday 23 February 16 22:23 GMT (UK)
Would some kind soul please check HADDON burials in DEVON for Thomas, Sarah and Elizabeth HADDON.?
Thomas HADDON and Sarah PEPPEREL married 1800 CULMSTOCK, DEVON.
Sarah HADDON nee PEPPEREL was born EXETER 1775.
The couple’s second child Elizabeth HADDON was born 28th December, 1815 CULMSTOCK, DEVON; Anglican baptism.
Thomas and Sarah’s seven year old grandson Thomas HADDON was buried at BLACKBOROUGH (Anglican) 7th March, 1847.
According to their son’s immigration record Thomas was deceased prior to 1853 and his mother Sarah was supposedly living in BLACKBOROUGH; we have been unable to find Sarah on the 1851 Census.

"we have been unable to find Sarah on the 1851 Census."

So I gave you some to consider?
Why didn't you say that you had it?

Hello Ray,
My ORIGINAL query “HADDON burials DEVON, National Burial Index lookup” was posted February 23rd.
The query was altered by the moderator and the moderator advised I could not ask for certain data.

I posted on February 26th “Thank you. You can delete this request.”

I posted my “original” query on another site and received a reply from another kind soul who supplied me with all of the information I required.

Your replies were received today February 27th, AFTER I had received a reply on another site.

ORIGINAL query:

Would some kind soul with access to the National Burial Index please check HADDON burials in DEVON for Thomas, Sarah and Elizabeth HADDON.?

Sarah HADDON nee PEPPEREL was born EXETER 1775.

I was just passing on info found,
in case it WAS of use to you, or anyone else who may be looking for info
to include or help exclude those ancestors.

OK, I think I get the message.

Regards
Ray

Rather difficult to update a post when one is NOT online.

I posted a message asking for the post to be deleted therefore there was no need for it to be updated anyway; that request for the post to be deleted was posted two days PRIOR to any of your posts.

None of my posts have blamed you or anyone else for being “wrong”.

In my private message to you, I thanked you for checking the information that you sent.

**My post stated Thomas’ wife Sarah HADDON nee PEPPEREL was born EXETER 1775.
Sarah HADDON, sister of Richard was born 1796 CULMSTOCK and was unmarried.
Prior to posting my query I had already viewed those entries and discounted them as being Thomas’ wife Sarah HADDON nee PEPPEREL.

Sorry you felt the need to be SO rude.

Have a nice day.  :)
