Title: Early Schoolmasters - Clerics?
Post by: gracem on Monday 22 February 16 23:38 GMT (UK): I have a couple of 'schoolmasters' from the late 1700's. Would they have any qualifications? Would they have taught in private houses? Both are from Home Counties - what can I use to find out more as I believe they moved around.
