Title: Brynbach
Post by: Seviad on Monday 18 July 05 00:26 BST (UK)
Can anyone help me with Brynbach, in Llandebie or Llandeilofawr please.  My Gr Gr Grandmother lived there at the time of her marriage but I am not sure if it was/is a farm or area.  Many thanks ::)

I didn't find a match for a placename, but there are lots for an address, several of which are in Carmarthenshire.  What does the address say on the certificate?  Do you think any of the addresses is a possibility?

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

Hi Arranroots

Thanks for the reply, but now wondering whether it would have been listed as Brynbach and another village name instead of Llandebie in those days as it does seem quite a few villages away.  It definitely says Brynbach Llandebie on m cert.  I would have thought it would have been Llandeilo Fawr.

That sounds promising!

The info I have for you is limited to this, but answers your original question:
Evan Evans was born in 1812 and married Rachel, born 1811.
I guess you already have the photograph of Letitia and David Roberts and family..
