Title: Etton and Dalton Graveyards
Post by: brschool on Saturday 20 February 16 22:04 GMT (UK)
Can anyone help me?
Is there anywhere on-line where information on who is buried where in these 2 graveyards.
They are both in East Yorkshire.
I went to Etton graveyard years ago and it is overgrown and there was no one there not even the preacher could be located.

Hi David,
Looked for Monumental Insciptions for Adkins family, none at all in North or South Dalton and only a mention for Walter Adkins, away on Active Service and the same for Ida Atkins, Womens Land Army, alongside approx 39 other names, possibly on a Plaque in Church or Churchyard

Phil thanks for all your help
I know my mother in buried in Etton
I believe there is no headstone
Who would have the records of where she would be buried
I have been to Etton 2 times and there is never anyone there or any info on who to contact.
I would have thought in these times and people researching they could have addressed this area.

Thanks
David

The Treasure house in Beverley would have parish records for Etton St Mary.  Under Ref: PE52
