Hi, I was wondering if anyone holds records for birth/baptisms for Grimsby. I have a James Mullholland born around 1865 in Grimsby Lincolnshire .I have only managed to find one census that he is on and thats the 1901 census in Hull Yorkshire,I cannot find any birth record in the freebmd or any birth record on ancestry for him, I would like to find who his parents were and where from, as James seemed to have ventured to Yorkshire at some,I have looked through census of when he would be growing up like 1871/1881 and even 1891 but still no trace of him seems like he never existed.
hope someone can help, appreciate any help that can be given.

I can't seem to find that census - who is he living with?

Sorry I have just had another look on the census and realised I may have the wrong person I thought it looked like James but looking further it could be samuel spelt saml.
on the 1901 census on findmypast it looked as though this could be James but transcribers put it down as saml.
