Title: Coastguards
Post by: Lafrowda on Wednesday 10 February 16 17:01 GMT (UK)
Richard NORSTER was a Boatman Coastguard stationed at various locations in England & Ireland.
Whilst in the Dublin Area (Rush, Lambay Island & Malahide) his wife Mary NORSTER had four children between 1829 & 1835.  How can I get a copy of the birth details ?

Just to say Lafrowda that there are no civil records for births this early - commence 1863
You will be relying on Baptism records

These are included on a paid site for Lusk Co. Dublin
Elizabeth Anne daughter of Richard Prevention Guard Rush bap. Apr 08 1829
Rebecca daughter of Richard Prevention Water Guard bap. Oct 14 1831
Maria daughter of Richard Prevention Water Guard bap. Jun 23 1833

Very Impressed by the RootsWeb family.  Thank you both for your help.  Would these be Catholic or Protestant baptisms ?

Just to let you know that I run the One Name Study for Norster/Noster and Nosciter surnames.

If I can be of any help, please let me know.
