looking for birth/baptism 1831 of Sarah Boville who came to Australia on Cressy in 1856. Father was Samuel Boville (Bovil Bovel) and mother Rachael Dempsey. Any information on the family in Ireland would be much appreciated

See that she's been mentioned on another thread- from what's been posted there it looks like they might have been Church of Ireland?

Will post details on existing topic to avoid having details on 2 separate topics.

Hi, came upon a few references to Boville/Bovell/Borel and wonder if perhaps you should be checking in county Antrim as well.
Wills:
Aghavarry, county Antrim
Betty Bovell died: 13 January 1879
Culnafey,county Antrim
George Bovill died: 10 August 1877
executors: William John & James Bovill of Ardnaglass, county Antrim
mentioned in will are brother-William and sisters- Mary & Nancy also Robert Jr, James Jr & Charles Bovill (doesn't specify relationship to George)
1831 Antrim-townland Culnaveigh George Bovill
1680 census-Antrim mention of Steven Bovell
In Freeholders' lists is Thomas Bovell-Culanavea Grange, Antrim
also in Court Cheque Book (listing voters for 2 knights to represent county Antrim) dated 1 June 1776 is also listed Thomas Bovell
Found a Samuel Borel listed in the 1831 county Derry census living in Lisnagrot with 6 in household, 3 males & 3 females, all belonging to the established church.

Hi Kim
Thanks for the information. I will try to look at county Antrim people.
I had the Lisnagrot census data and I am sure this family is ours.
