Dear Helper,
I am totally at a loss to imagine what the name of this child was
Gole ? aged 6 in this - [not in the 1851 census in this family.]
1841 Census: Brook Street, Hackney.
David DYER 40 b London
Mary 35 b Bristol
David 12
Eliza 9
Gole 6
Mary 4
Thank in anticipation...

A guess from me Job (added or John) -the child is male according to the age column :-\

I would agree with Job

There are these Chiswick baptisms which may be relevant.
23 Mar 1834: John William DYER born 02 March 1834.
05 Feb 1837: Mary Hanbury DYER born 12 Jan 1837.
Parents in each case: David, shoemaker* and Mary, of Turnham Green.
* I think David's occupation (though faint) is cordwainer (=shoemaker) in that 1841 census.

From Hackney Poor Law Removal & Settlement records:
3 Oct 1854
Dyer, Mary 52, wife of David 54
Dyer, Mary Hanbury 17
abode: in the workhouse.
Notes in the register re Mary snr:
Married St Augustine Church, College Green, Bristol in the year 1802**.
Her husband rented a house No. 6 Upper Albany St, Regent's Park, St Pancras at £55 rent & rates and did so for 3 years - left same in March 1853. Husband gone to Melbourn [sic]. Belongs to St Pancras.
**It clearly says 1802 (unrealistic given their ages) - the marriage of David Dyer & Mary Hanbury appears in fact to have taken place in 1822: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NF54-46V
I see that there is then a burial in West Hackney, 4 Oct 1857, of Mary Hanbury Dyer, 21, of Wellington St.

23 Mar 1834: John William DYER born 2 March 1834.
They are at 6, Upper Albany Street in 1851, with them is son John aged 17 born in Chiswick.
Ho 107 / 1493/ 430 / 39
I'd suggest that your 1841 'Gole' is the same person as your 1851 John.
