Title: Oxley family from Wells and Yeovil, Somerset, UK

I am researching the Oxley family from Wells and Yeovil, Somerset, UK.  My line follows Robert Oxley born Wells 1786 who married Sarah Grimes in Yeovil.  They had 9 children including George Grimes Oxley born Yeovil 1830.  Is anyone else researching this family?

Have a look st the Surnames Interest Table in RootsChat!

Scroll down to the bottom of any RootsChat page.
Under the heading "Your Tools" you will find "Surname Interests".
Click on that.
And then click on "Quick Search", and then choose letter "O" (for Oxley).
Then select the group of 4 letter alphabetically before your chosen name (OWEN in your case).

There is at least 1 person with an interest in Oxley in Somerset.

While you're there, why not add your own surname interests?

The surname Oxley is a registered study with the Guild of One-Name Studies. http://one-name.org/

Thanks Stan, I have checked it out and I am very tempted to pay the subscription fee to take a look.  It is always a gamble with subscriptions as to whether any of them are in my branch of the family or whether I already have them.

I am researching this line - George Grimes Oxley is my 3 x great grandfather, and Robert is my 4 x great grandfather.
